Facilities Engineer 
As a Facilities Engineer, you will have the opportunity to support key site systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to critical facility and infrastructure projects. Here, you will make an impact by:

Main Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing preventative maintenance plans to maximise equipment uptime and facility performance
  • Leading and supporting facility upgrades, refurbishments, and expansion projects from planning through execution.
  • Working with engineering partners, architects, and contractors to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to internal standards.
  • Communicating planned and unplanned works to stakeholders to minimise operational disruption.
  • Supporting the delivery of department and site KPIs.
  • Managing multiple projects from concept through completion, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and budgets are achieved.
  • Maintaining project schedules, cost tracking, and resource allocation documentation.
  • Coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to meet technical and facility requirements.
  • Ensuring all work meets safety requirements, regulatory standards, and company policies.
  • Conducting safety checks and supporting internal and external audits.
  • Implementing corrective and preventative actions where required.
  • Providing clear updates to stakeholders on project progress, issues, and risks.
  • Working closely with engineering, operations, and cross-functional teams to support successful execution of facility initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical discipline
    Facilities engineering experience, ideally in a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., pharma or biotech)
  • Strong understanding of GMP, regulatory frameworks, and facility systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire systems, and energy management.
  • Proven success managing or supporting capital projects, site improvements, and process optimisation initiatives.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality results within project constraints.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Technical knowledge of utilities, building services, and critical facility systems.
  • Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment is a distinct advantage.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and continuous improvement focus.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and external service providers.
